Product Application Instructions
1. The floor must be properly sanded.
2. Vacuum or sweep the floor thoroughly
to remove any sawdust, sand and dirt.
3. Room and floor temperature should be a
minimum of +10ēC.
4. Draughts and direct sunlight should be
avoided.
5. Shake the oil well
before application.
6. Apply the oil with a soft cloth (100% cotton) or a squeegee.
7. Remove any surplus oil with
an oil-removing blade or soft cloth (a buffing machine could be used with a beige pad) after approximately 15 minutes. Please make sure
that the oil is buffed before it dries.
8. Allow 12 hours drying time
between coats. We recommend 2 coats of oil are applied for all wood species with the exception of Black Walnut, whereas we recommend 3
coats.
9. Do not walk on the floor
for 12 hours after final coat. If you must, then wear socks but no shoes.
10. The oiled floor must not
be wet-wiped within 7 days. By this time the oil will be fully cured.
11. Wait 7 days before
cleaning or laying rugs or placing furniture.

PLEASE NOTE:
If your first coat is a
colorant/oil mix, follow the same directions as above.

The drying times are
approximate, depending on the room and floor temperatures as well as the air humidity.
WARNING: Spontaneous
Combustion Danger!
Oil-soaked materials (rags, steel wool, sanding dust, etc.) may spontaneously combust.
Immerse oil-soaked materials in water and store in an airtight metal container. Dispose accordingly.

MAINTENANCE-EMULSION
Apply by adding 1 % mixture per 1 litre of warm water.
DO NOT SOAK when wiping the floor.
Allow your floor to completely dry before walking on it.

REFRESHER
To bring back the floor's original luster, we recommend an application every 1-5 years
depending on wear and tear.
Apply the mixture using a spray bottle - DO NOT MIX WITH WATER. Lightly mist the floor evenly then mop with a disposable cloth mop.
To prevent wax build-up, DO NOT apply too many times.
Allow 30 hours of drying time - in the meantime, DO NOT walk on the floor with shoes. Final strength of the finish will be achieved in
approximately two weeks.
